1. Getting acquainted with the subject:
- It’s a difficult but an interesting subject with 16 Units
- Each unit can be divided into 6 lessons.
- Each term contains 8 Units.
- Whole school year has 105 periods in which:- the first term has 54 periods
- the second has 51.
- Ss have 9 periods for Revision and Testing.
- The work book is written in the same procedure with the text book.
2. The topics of the English program from grade 6 to 9:
- Personal information
- Education
- Community
- Nature
- Recreation
- People and places
3. Guides to study effectively:
- T. presents the way to study effectively and gives some techniques:
+ Practice regularly.
+ Pay much attention to the lesson during the time in the class.
+ Do exercises right after studying in the class and listening to the teacher carefully.
+ Spend much time to practice at home and in the classroom with your classmates.
+ Be much self-confident in all studying activities.
4. Some ways of the class organization:
- Group work
- Pair work
- Individually

- Remind Ss the key points: Information about the subject and the ways of learning the subject effectively.
